While certainly the least glamorous of all of the ABS offerings, nothing can short circuit a network deployment faster than faulty Layer 1 infrastructure. ABS recognized this stumbling block early in our networking career and rather than depend on the work of others to ensure a proper, well designed, and well documented cable plant, ABS decided to develop our own cabling practice to provide our clients with professional, reliable, and cost effective cabling solutions.

ABS has a long list of clients who depend on our cabling services to ensure that their network investments do not get tripped up at Layer 1. Few things rankle an IT manager faster than a network rollout that gets sidetracked because of an aging or sloppy cable infrastructure. While it may about as much fun as buying new tires for your car, and does not have the appeal of adding wireless networking to your organization or the impact of a new IP phone system, a sound cable infrastructure is the foundation of any good network. Like it or not, access points, IP phones, and IP cameras eventually have to connect back to the core, and for the foreseeable future that connection is going to be a well deployed cable plant. ABS understands this and can provide this critical foundation for our clients.
