Andrew Ellis

Network Engineer

Andrew is ABS’ young Englishman who joined the team as a Network Engineer in 2011. He holds an advanced diploma from First Colonial High School and a CCNA certification from the Advanced Technology Center.

Andrews works on the design and implementation of wired and wireless infrastructures and services.

When Andrew gets bored he likes to fix things. He will buy used laptops, fix them and resell them. He claims it is an “unhealthy addiction to fixing things,” but ABS clients find it an ideal trait for him to have in his job. Andrew’s family is originally from England having moved to the United States when he was young.

Describe yourself in three words.
Analytical, handyman, straightforward

Mac or PC?
I’m a PC guy, always have been. I couldn’t justify spending that much money on a Mac.

On Saturday where can we find you?
That really depends. I end up in all sorts of places. Or I just sit at home.

Most recent traveling experience.
England. I went to an uncle’s wedding on the Millennium Wheel (The London Eye) and visited family.

Favorite food?
I don’t have a favorite food, it really depends what I’m in the mood for. Generally I eat anything.

“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Yours is just stupid.”

Favorite book?
The Catcher in the Rye

Favorite musical artist(s)?
I’m a big Radiohead fan.

Can you sing?
No, not at all. Do I? Yes, all the time. I get quite a few looks at red lights.

What do you like most about working at ABS?
The people. Everyone is a pleasure to work with; they are funny and extremely helpful.
