Alexander Zeltmann

Wireless Network Engineer

Alex joined ABS in 2005 as a Wireless Network Engineer.  He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

He is responsible for designing and implementing wireless solutions for ABS customers. Alex was recognized at the Engineer of the Quarter in the first quarter of 2011.

You could probably say that Alex is a sports fan. In his down time he enjoys working out and watching Hokie sports. He is a bit competitive too with a family rivalry to see who can visit the most major league ballparks. His mom and he are the current leaders with eight parks each.

Watching VT Football, beach, pool, friends’ house, movies, etc.

Most recent traveling experience.
I went to Milwaukee and Chicago to see the Brewers, White Sox, and Cubs. Got to experience the sites of Chicago, gamble in Milwaukee, and try all the “exquisite” cuisine at all three ballparks.

Favorite food?
Turkey roast with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, cranberry sauce, and biscuits.

Favorite quote?

Favorite book?
The Victors, Band of Brothers

Favorite musical artist?
Big fan of oldies – The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Steve Miller Band and Aerosmith. Also a big fan of 90’s rock – Green Day, Pearl Jam, The Offspring and Nirvana.

Can you sing?
Shower singer, so no.

What do you like most about working at ABS?
The atmosphere of the office is relaxing. The casual office pranks, and jokesters.
